Chaplains Turkey Hunt
& Retreat 2023
Military chaplains are the very heart and soul of the military. The chaplain’s responsibilities include performing religious rites, conducting worship services and providing confidential counseling. They also advise commanders on religious, spiritual and moral matters. Chaplains are commissioned officers stationed wherever there are military members, including combat environments.
When the chaplain’s hunt comes around each spring, we are sew excited. Gifting men and women of God is at the very heart of our mission. Those who minister to our men and women are irreplaceable.
April of ’23 four chaplains traveled to Missouri for spiritual and recreational rejuvenation.
At an evening meal, Barbara Wright Schwinn, Q4V’s veteran coordinator, presented the four men with handmade quilts. The humble nature of the men and their faces tell the story.
To our volunteer makers who support our veteran’s, “one stitch at a tiime”, thank you for your talent, love, and support for our American heroes.
To our veteran’s – you have our undying support and love – for keeping us free.
