Deer Hunt 2023

The 2023 Lady Veteran Deer Hunt was a fun and exciting event. Two gals attended and were hosted and guided by Tangie Abts Beard a veteran hunter and Peterson Outdoors Ministries volunteer.

The gals stayed at the Lodge of Hope and enjoyed the lake, sighting in their firearms, getting into the field, harvesting deer, learning knitting, making new friends, and receiving their quilts.

We’re so blessed to touch the hearts of our veterans by presenting them with handmade quilts that remind them how much they are loved and respected. When they wrap themselves in their quilts, the impact is profound and evident.
