U.S. quilters, volunteer as a maker for the 2024-2025 Quilts4Vets Quilt Campaign for chances to win $500 worth of longarm quilting services from JT Quilting** and other fun prizes. 

Grand Prize Winner: $500 Longarm Quilting Services Voucher, which may be used for any longarm services. So, whether you have a king-size quilt or two twins to be quilted, you’re covered. This is not automated/robotic quilting, it’s freehand longarming, so every quilt is unique. Jenn’s work is amazing. Volunteer now.

Five Additional Winners: Five additional makers will be selected to receive one of several additional prizes, such as fabric or notions.

How This Works

You pick your own completion date, quilt pattern, and fabrics. The quilts may be simple or intricate. Volunteer now.

Volunteer to:

1. Make a patriotic quilt top (approx. 50 to 60 x 72 inches), or

2. Finish a top we provide to you (sandwich, quilt, and bind) or

3. Make a complete patriotic quilt

You will receive chances to win the $500 Longarm Quilting Service and other prizes based on what you make:

1. Make a full quilt and get 3 chances to win

2. Finish (batting, quilting, backing, binding, and label) and get 2 chances to win

3. Make a quilt top get 1 chance to win

The Rules

The winners will be drawn when Quilts4Vets receives enough volunteers to complete Quilts4Vets’ mission of gathering 50 completed quilts in 2024.

We anticipate it will be between 75 and 80 volunteers, as not all are making a complete quilt. So, your chances of winning are amazing.

The winner will receive the voucher when she/he completes their quilt project and delivers it to Quilts4Vets.

The drawing will be held live on Facebook using a digital “winner’s wheel” to make the selections.

Quilts4Vets

Quilts4Vets is a non-profit charity, 501(c)3. We provide quilts to veterans suffering from physical and/or emotional challenges.

The love and support the veterans feel when they touch a handmade quilt, made in their honor, is profound.

Quilts4Vets works directly with Peterson Outdoors Ministries (POM) and Lodge of Hope to connect with veterans and provide our “Supporting you one stitch at a time” quilts. POM and Lodge of Hope provide physical and spiritual support to veterans through outdoor recreation and faith-based initiatives.

** Standard JT Quilting longarm services are $.035 per square inch. A 120- x 112-inch quilt, which allows for a long drop on the sides of the bed, is 13,440 sq. inches (wow). At .035 per sq. inch, the standard cost is $470.40. You may choose the custom quilting option—prices for custom quilting start at $.04 per inch. 

Batting, backing, and binding materials must accompany the quilt top, they are not included in the prices.
